WIP: The Cycle

Wow, the atmosphere is already excellent, very strange and unsettling. And the shading really brings out the textures, especially the gnarly roots (?) and the smooth skulls. and the (I'm guessing from the title) leaves. I'm curious, since I'm guessing this part is about plants growing from dead bodies, will there also be animals eating the plants?

As for any suggestions, since it looks like the light source if from the left, I guess maybe the (viewer's) right side of the mound should be in general darker.
